Located in the gated Pepperwood community, this home reimagines a dated residence while preserving its mature, tree-filled setting. Prioritizing privacy, the restrained front façade features minimal glazing, while the single-story structure extends deep into the property, maximizing mountain views through expansive rear-facing windows.

A central courtyard introduces natural light and enhances indoor-outdoor flow, anchored by a sculptural tree that visually links the main living spaces. The entry sequence unfolds through layered masses and walkways, leading to a great room with clerestory glazing, warm wood paneling, and integrated backlighting.

Designed for empty nesters, the home includes separate offices, a creative workshop, and a discreet scullery behind the open-concept kitchen. The lower level offers recreational spaces, including a golf simulator and game room.

Rooted in a midcentury modern aesthetic, the design emphasizes horizontal lines, deep overhangs, and a material palette of natural wood and Roman brick, harmonizing with the wooded landscape.
